You can always count on the West Los Angeles Symphony to
surprise and delight you every year! This year, Outlook award winning maestro,
Sir Angel Romero, will conduct two concertos for instruments rarely given the
spotlight.
This year, on March 28th at Royce Hall at UCLA, the multi-award winning Naoko Takada, known for her exquisite and delicate touch, as well as for her passion, will perform a melodic Marimba Concerto by Kevin Puts.
Then, San Diego Symphony principal harpist, Julie Ann Smith, one of the most dazzling harpists today, will bring her charismatic style to the Royce Hall stage.
The West Los Angeles Symphony is an all-professional orchestra that has performed for more than 52,000 people, over 17 years. The Outlook strongly suggests readers reward themselves and attend this event which is free to the public.
